New song off the EP in-the-making, “Future by Design”. I’m super stoked on the new tracks and couldn’t contain myself any longer, so I had to release this one to give a glimpse of what I’ve been up to these past few months. Plenty more to come! The digital artwork is by Chris Escobar (http://www.escobarprints.blogspot.com/)

EP Update:
The tracks are comin’ along just great! I’m really flowing with inspiration right now and it’s getting me really stoked on the tunes I’m making for y’all. I wanted to update everyone on the status of the EP and the recent good news that I’ve encountered. While browsing my favorite on-line forum I came across an impressive artist named Chris Escobar. Blending the clean cut styles of modern design & psychedelic landscapes with intricate detail is what drew me to this artist, and he’s been kind enough to contribute his time and energy towards helping me manifest my latest aspiration. Chris will be working on the album art for my latest EP. Here’s a sneak peek at the type of art that Chris makes.

A few of my favorite pieces.

You can check out more of Chris’ work on his blog: http://www.escobarprints.blogspot.com/

Video: Stoked on Live Music!

I was going through my Facebook page the other day when I came across this video of one of my shows at Cafe International (San Francisco) a few months back. This was such an amazing show… :) one of my first in the city and one that produced an amazing interaction between myself and the audience. The first video is me playing Wet Warrior and doing some live production, then the next video is the coup de gras, the dance battle between the host of the open mic (Steve) and some random old woman!! One of the most energetic experiences I’ve ever encountered behind a keyboard. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, cheers

PS.
The new EP is coming along great!! I can’t wait to finish it for y’all

Piano Tuned!

pianofisheye

Just tuned my 100 year old piano! Had to get it tuned twice in the past month because the strings were so bad! Sounds beautiful again, though. I’ve been on it pretty much every day since I got it in early February; I have to say I’m a bit addicted… haha, but that’s a good thing. I’m currently working on incorporating a few solo acoustic piano tracks on the new EP, “Suspicion Breeds Confidence”, coming out later this year. But in the meantime, enjoy the pics of my baby and a improv piano track from a few months back.

EP Preview: Wet Warrior (extended end) on SoundCloud

Exclusive web preview of a new EP I’m working on, “Suspicion Breeds Confidence”, a multi track album featuring a couple remakes, some new originals, and some acoustic piano pieces to top it all off! I’m pretty excited about this one, so keep an eye out for the full release towards the end of Winter 2012!

Thanks for listening!

UPDATE: I’m currently working on a new EP… a few new tracks, some remastered and reworked material, and an acoustic piano song, as well. Keep an eye out for a release in the next month. I’ll be posting an exclusive track on TheNerm.com at the end of the day to give y’all a preview of what I’ve been working on ;)

New Website! TheNerm.com Gets a Facelift!

Hey Everyone!

So due to some technical difficulties, my entire website was wiped clean and nothing was saved! This means I’m back to square one and need to rebuild this thing page by page… it looks like I have my work cut out for me, haha. But no worries, I’m up to the challenge and I look forward to making this site better than ever! Keep checking back on the site regularly to witness the progress. I should have everything back to normal by the end of Feb.

Stay groovin’, friends :)
